exegesis:

evolutionary aspiration is sometimes seen as an upward movement through levels, from earth to sky, hell to heaven or from the base of the spinal column to the brain.  it is also a movement outward from the micro to the macro, from simple molecular machines to human and planetary systems.  there is also a movement of information integration, from simple understanding to complex synthesis of multiple knowledge streams- from simple parts to complex systems.  in reality, these movements can go in both directions: up and down, in and out, simple to complex, complex to simple.  

there is no reason why the human (or the hypothetical extraterrestrial being) has to be the pinnacle of organization.  the Gaia Hypothesis has yet to be disproven, and, in this essay i will discuss the Lactea Hypothesis...

Everybody makes a big deal about dreams like woo how freaky, like the time you were tripping balls and you saw the Dog of the Universe saying something something other dimensions.  Jesus!  You're dreaming right now!  All your trillion trillion molecular machines are just buzzing away.  Look at that bug, living its best life.

Things that are just not so special anymore:

the earth, not the center of the solar system;

humans, cognitively, not the only animal to use tools and pass the mirror test;

humans, genetically, share 90% of our genes with a cat.

So, also, there's not a whole lot of difference between dreaming, fantasy, and rational thought.

You can construct your own island of insanity in a sea of junk science!

This is the dream we all dream of (oh, please!  oh, the jelly matrix!) 

(i spent most of 2020 working on just 5 pieces, most of which were started years ago, and this one is the first one of those that I'm posting.  more to come; i'm wrapping this all up before moving to a new special mode of working.)

did the (G)god(s) make us or did we make the (G)god(s)? where did it start? where did you start? the aliens are already here. they never not been here. they will never be here. we are the aliens, speaking through thousands channels of information through allspace. new perspective is alien. each window a world. we are one and all.
(as if, identifying an advanced extraterrestrial species, we could understand anything about them. their jokes zipping lightspeed criss the sky whoosh.)
there's not a secret book with the alien revelation. it's in all the books. it's in the shape of the spaces between the lines, the voids like worms waving up and down the pages.  you can see the robots crawling through compression artifacts sometimes, unaware of an orthogonal existence.  let them be.   be still like professional wildlife shadow people photographer and make friends with the .
