we are machines
machines that dream
machines composed of living machine animalcules
and so on emerging from blind atoms

 emerging in a dream a face talking this thing this dream being is it me?

 did this theory of mind evolve to facilitate ever larger superorganisms' social functioning?
or there's always an or did mind evolve molecules to store information?

 yes.

 shut it, beautiful dreamer.
